Our Love Table

So when Matt and I were dating we realized we both had the same table.  I was using mine as a TV stand and I think Matt's was in storage.  Anyways, I had bought mine at a garage sale and it was pretty water-stained and beat up and I think Matt's was pretty old, too.  Neither one of us used ours much, and we certainly haven't since we got married, so we've just been carting (ha, ha - get it?) them around with us each time we move.

We were clearing some things out the other day and I suggested to Matt we get rid of them unless we modify them.  They really serve no purpose to use the way they are now so I thought if we stacked them we could make a bookcase-like shelf and then we could actually use it.  Matt was pretty excited about the idea of this - it was like our TV stands were catching up to our relationship and getting married!  Weird.

So we stacked them and it actually worked out pretty well!  I'm going to use it in the kid bathroom since that bathroom is freakishly big and I can set the towels out on it.  Once we figure out how we're going to decorate that bathroom I'll paint it and finish it up, but for now, we're actually getting some use out of these love tables.  And we got a towel shelf for free!
